1.        Mastercard Foundation is partnering with MCGill University, Canada to offer 100% free Undergraduate  scholarship to Africa students who are from economically disadvantaged communities but could not continue as a result of poor family background, for 2018/2019 academic session.

3. Brief description : The Mastercard Foundation Scholarship Programme(MCFSP) for African students is now open for candidates who wants to apply at MCGill University  for 2018/2019 academic year.

7.   Candidates who are applying for this scholarship MUST meet up with the following criteria;

9. *Must be a resident and a citizen of sub-Saharan Africa
10. *Must have strong academic performance 
11. *Must demonstrate interest and capacity for voluntary services and school/community activities
12. *Must posses leadership potential
13. *Will be willing to cope with change and have interest foreign countries and culture
14. *Must be financially unstable and from lowest income bracket in country of origin
15. *Must be willing to return to serve their home country and enhance economic growth and social development at the end of the program
16. * Must have successfully completed their secondary education  with good grades
17. *Transfer students are not eligible
18. *Must meet up with academic qualifications for admission into MCGill University, Canada.
